Shots Fired in Ferndale, No Injuries Reported

Ferndale, MI – On June 27, 2023, at approximately 6:43 p.m., Ferndale Police responded to the area
of Woodward and Jewell for shots fired.
On-scene investigation revealed a shooting occurred. The suspect fired multiple shots at another
vehicle on northbound Woodward Ave, near Jewell. One round struck the Suburban Ford dealership
building.
The suspect was the passenger in a dark colored sedan and fired at a silver sedan. There were no
reported injuries, and both the suspect and victim fled the area. This does not appear to be a random
shooting.
