Small Kitchen Fire on McDowell in Ferndale Quickly Contained

Ferndale, MI – A small kitchen fire occurred in the kitchen of a home on McDowell Monday morning around 10am.
According to Fire Chief Teresa Robinson, ” Firefighters arrived on scene very quickly and were able to extinguish the fire with a water can extinguisher.”
No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
