Restaurant Quest: Whiskey River Bar and Grill in Davisburg

Davisburg, MI – The quest to review every restaurant in Oakland County takes us to Dixie Highway in Davisburg for Whiskey River Bar and Grill.
For a tasty carryout I ordered the Cobb Salad and Fish Tacos. The Cobb Salad is made with romaine lettuce, seasoned chicken breast, bacon, mozzarella cheese, tomato, cucumber, sliced egg, and croutons.
The Fish Tacos are made with deep fried cod fillet, Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce, and diced tomato drizzled in housemade Baja ranch and sweet thai chili sauce. Both were delicious and fresh-tasting.
Other menu options include sandwiches like the Philly Cheese Steak, Pulled Pork, and Reuben. For burgers there’s the Mushroom Swiss, Jalapeno Pepperjack, and the Double Trouble which is two patties stacked with American cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
There are other salad choices, as well as sharables and appetizers like Pretzel Sticks, Chili Cheese Fries, and Pulled Pork Nachos.
