June 13 – Ferndale Library Concert – Dani Darling
Ferndale, MI – Concerts in the Courtyard Our annual Summer Concert Series returns for three performances throughout the season, brought to you by the Friends of the Ferndale Library.
These free, all-ages concerts are a great way for music fans to enjoy a nice summer evening and encounter some of Michigan’s top-notch talents with songs that span a variety of genres and styles.
No registration is required, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets.

Dani Darling is a versatile, psychedelic-soul-styled chanteuse, guitarist, producer, and songwriter from Ann Arbor. Her influences range from Erykah Badu to Radiohead and Old Hollywood movie scores. She blends elements of funk and jazz into a dreamy-atmospheric rock aesthetic. Darling has released several EPs and singles, as well as the critically acclaimed full-length Future; she’s performed all over the world, from Rome to Paris, New York to Edinburgh, backed by her five-piece band.
