Holly Area Chamber Strikes Up Friendships with Annual Bowling Fundraiser

Holly, MI – Over forty people laced up soft-soled shoes and rolled balls down lanes to knock down pins at the Holly Area Chamber of Commerce annual bowling fundraiser.  Not only did members show off their sportsy skills, they got to build business relationships as well. Plus there were eleven fun-themed gift baskets raffled off.

“This is a great networking event where members can meet other members in a fun environment,” said Chamber Executive Director Richard Kinnamon.  “This event in particular is great for team building with staff or volunteers.”

This event funds some of the day to day operations of the Chamber, which is always looking for ways to support the businesses and groups that are part of the organization.  The Chamber hosts a number of networking and community events. They provide an online business director and community calendar, as well as job posting and member to member deals. They’ve helped advise small businesses through the pandemic, and continue growing their reach in Holly and beyond.

The event came together with the help of many sponsors, including Michigan United Credit Union, The State Bank, and Holly Lanes. Lane sponsors were Chuck Stone Coldwell Banker, Diane Ducat Keller Williams Premier, CJW Chimney Sweep, Jobes Technology Solutions, and Winglemire Furniture.

And of course Brian Aubuchon was recognized for the cozy venue and community vibe.  “Holly Lanes is a great location for a networking event like this one. Brian is always finding ways to support the Chamber and also many other organizations in the Holly community,” Kinnamon said.
