May 18 – Highland State of the Township, and Opportunity to Weigh in on Master Plan
Highland Township, MI – WHAT COMES NEXT FOR HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP? The world has changed a lot since 2000, when our current Master Plan was developed, and the pace of change is accelerating. Highland Township is in the midst of revising the Plan, and wants to hear from residents and property owners about the directions we could take—things like sewer and water service, policies about home based businesses, life around our lakes and life out in the large acreage parcels. We need to hear from you if we’re going to have a plan that serves the community and doesn’t just sit on the shelf.
Come to the newly renovated Township Hall on Thursday, May 18 from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
We’ll fill you in on “the state of the Township” and start open discussions on many topics.
With your input, and the results of our resident land use survey, we will craft a new plan to take us forward to 2045 and beyond. For more information, please feel free to call the Planning Department at 248-887-3791 x2 or email at Planning@highlandtwp.org.
Please share this with your friends and neighbors. We promise to be respectful of your time and appreciate your willingness to join in the discussion.
