Auburn Hills Firefighters Stop Spread of Fire in an Adam’s Creek Apartment

Auburn Hills, MI – At 12:06 pm Friday, the Auburn Hills Fire Department (AHFD) was dispatched to the 3200 block of S. Adams Rd at Adams Creek Apartments for a reported structure fire.
Personnel arrived on scene to find a working fire on the first floor of the multi-unit structure.
Fire crews forced entry and were able knock out the fire located in the kitchen of a rear apartment unit. Multiple residents were assisted from the building by Auburn Hills Police Department. Several animals were rescued as well.
Two residents were treated for smoke inhalation and transported to the hospital by Rochester Hills FD and Alliance Mobile Health. Four Auburn Hills Police Officers were transported to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
Fire personnel from Rochester Hills and Bloomfield Township provided mutual aid at the fire scene. Fire Personnel from Rochester City provided fire and EMS backup coverage for the city during the event.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation
