Video: Orion Schools Hosts Summit to Talk About School Safety

Lake Orion, MI – On Monday, April 17, 2023, Lake Orion Community Schools hosted a Safety Summit at Lake Orion High School’s Performing Arts Center. Community groups and law enforcement were present to explain what the community is doing to make Lake Orion’s schools safer.
In an interview with ONTV’s Joe Johnson, Lake Orion Schools Superintendent Ben Kirby said “A lot of the work that we’ve done around the preventative strategies and the physical plans of our schools is really made possible by the bond in November 2018, so that work will continue because of the support of the community.”
