Wolverine Lake Seeking Residents to Serve on Subcommittee for Chicken Ordinance

Wolverine Lake, MI – The Wolverine Lake Village Council is forming a subcommittee to review Chapter 606 of the Village Code and recommend amendments that would allow chickens to be raised on residential property in the Village.
Any Village resident who is interested in being on the subcommittee should submit a letter of interest to Village Administrator Dave Gillam by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023. Letters can be mailed to the Village Hall, dropped off at the Village Hall, or e-mailed to admin@wolverinelake.com.
The Village Council will be deciding which residents will be on the subcommittee at the next regular Council meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. If you have any questions, please call the Village Hall.
