Restaurant Quest: Ox Bar and Grill in Oxford

Oxford, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a fantastic dinner at The Ox Bar and Grill in Downtown Oxford. It was such a great place to sit and watch people and cars outside, while there were also several TVs.
I ordered the Chargrilled Scottish Salmon, which was a nice sized piece of salmon with a crispy layer of salty seasoning that was just mouthwatering, coating the delicate flavorful bites. It came with cubes of honey glazed sweet potatoes and a crispy side salad.
To accompany this satisifying meal, I had a cocktail called the Bilbo Baggins, made with Effen Cucumber Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liquer, Lemon Juice, Mint, and Soda.
The menu has a variety of choices to fit any appetite. For starters there are appetizers like Coconut Shrimp, Fried Calamari, and Deep Fried Cheese Balls. There are burgers like the Jack Daniels Burger and the Double-Stack, plus sandwiches like the Monte Cristo and Wood Grilled Chicken. Other choices include the Baja Avocado Bowl, Tortellini Villa Vodka, and a Grande Wet Burrito.
The Ox also serves breakfast, with Oreo Pancakes, Banana Split French Toast, and French Toast Grilled Cheese among the creative choices, which are served daily until 3pm.
