Restaurant Quest: Providence Coney Island in Southfield

Southfield, MI – Near Providence Hospital is a coney island of the same name that is a perfect place for nurses and other hospital staffers as well as members of the public to grab a quick, inexpensive bite.
Providence Coney Island has nice comfy booths and a friendly atmosphere, with historic pictures of Detroit on the walls, plus food that is a good value.
For my visit I had the Bacon and Cheese omelette, which came with American cheese and fresh cooked bacon. It was served with shredded hash browns and the kind of toast that has melted butter brushed on top. Plus I enjoyed a nice mug of hot chocolate.
Providence Coney Island has breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Other breakfast options include sandwiches like the breakfast wrap and egg and meat sandwich, plus omelettes and skillets like the Meat Lovers and the Vegetarian. The Corned Beef Omelette and the Turkey Sausage and Cheese Omelette are among the choices.
For lunch and dinner one might enjoy a Grilled Chicken Pita, Chicken Lemon Rice Soup, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Coney Dogs and more. Providence Coney Island does not have a website, but the menu can be viewed at Ubereats.com.
