ONTV Food Drive Exceeds Goal with Funds and Canned Food for Oxford/Orion FISH

(ONTV, March 3, 2023)

Lake Orion, MI -ONTV’s 13th annual food drive was held the week of February 6th – 10th. The drive raised over $13,000 for the Oxford/Orion FISH Food Pantry through community donations and sponsorships, and collected over 2,000 lbs of food.

A special thank you goes out to Bill and Pam Valken and Mary Mitchell from Madison Heights Plumbing & Heating Supply for their huge $5,000 donation. Also a big thank you goes out to Mr. Keith Aldrige, owner of Canterbury Village for his huge donation of $1,000. We would also like to thank Golling Buick/GMC and Mike Cayen for their wonderful contributions of $500.00.

The community, along with the help from Girl Scout Troop # 77493, Home Depot, Golling Buick/GMC and Broadway Dance, filled the ONTV production van with approximately 2,000 pounds of non-perishable food items that were delivered to FISH. A shout out also goes to Culver’s of Lake Orion for providing lunch for the crew.

A special thanks to all our Volunteers and Matt Pfeiffer from Northern Flooring for going above and beyond to help make this year’s food drive a big success.

Thank you to all who supported our efforts to help feed those in need in our community.
