Oakland County Invites Residents to Fill Out Online Community Health Survey

(Oakland County, Feb. 19, 2023)

Oakland County, MI – Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) and Energizing Connections for a Healthier Oakland (ECHO) have launched a countywide community survey to gather residents’ views on key issues that affect health and wellness.

The survey is one of many ways that ECHO is collecting data and resident input to help create a community health improvement plan for the next five years. Individuals who are 18 years of age and a resident or visit Oakland County are encouraged to participate in the survey. The results of the assessment process help create a community health improvement plan that guides the work of the Health Division and community partners.

The survey asks residents to share their opinions on topics ranging from access to medical care and support services to various health issues within their community. It also touches on community characteristics, including affordable housing, reliable public transportation, and food access.

To complete the survey, visit www.oakgov.com/echo or contact Nurse on Call, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at 800-848-5533. It is available in English, Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish.

Organizations that would like to assist in spreading awareness and encouraging participation in the survey, can email echo@oakgov.com for more information.
