Royal Oak, Mich. — Celebrate Black History Month with the Royal Oak Public Library’s “Local Black Author Stroll.” The event takes place on Wednesday February 22 at 6pm. We will celebrate our incredible local black voices, discuss their inspirations, and have the opportunity to purchase their works. Authors include Darliss Batchelor, Doris D. Hannah-Turner, Colette R. Harrell, Tenita C. Johnson, Dr. De’Andrea Matthews, Valerie D. Wade and David Watkins. No registration is necessary.
