OC Restaurant Quest: Slice of the 80s Pizza in Waterford

Waterford, MI – There’s a pizza place in Waterford capitalizing on the most bodacious decade of the last century. Slice of the 80’s offers up a rad selection of specialty pizzas – and their signature dish which is cinnamon bread with rad neon colored icing.

The Trillogy has three kinds of pepperoni. The Tubular has ham, bacon, pineapple and extra cheese. And the 85, which I had, is made with pepperoni, ham, mushroom, green peppers, and onion. The company boasts using fresh made dough, 100% mozzarella, and fresh veggies and mushrooms.

Appetizers include battered mushrooms, mac and cheese bites, chicken tenders and more. There are also antipasto and garden salads. For the wings there are abundant flavor options like apple bbq, Thai chili, mango habenaro, mild garlic Parmesan, honey honey (no, that’s not a typo, it’s just a lot of honey) and more.

The lobby of this carryout spot has the bright bodacious colors one would expect of an 80s themed place, and a logo with a traditional 80s rock star.

Slice of the 80s has three locations in Metro Detroit – Westland, Livonia and Waterford which is at 5753 Elizabeth Lake Rd suite b, Waterford Twp, MI 48327.  Order online at https://www.sliceofthe80s.com/.
