OC Restaurant Quest: Grant’s Pizza House in Rochester

Rochester, MI  – At Grant’s Pizza House in Downtown Rochester, there are a few specialty pizza options, plus the chance for customers to build their own.  I took the later path for my inaugural visit, creating my own masterpiece with bacon, mushrooms, and onion with garlic butter Romano crust.  The pizza was absolutely covered with mushrooms, with bits of bacon and onion sprinkled among the thin sliced fungi.

I also got the Parmesan bread sticks with ranch for dipping. And the order came with an unexpected cookie!

Specialty pizza choices include the Dragonscale Double Pepperoni, The BAT (Bacon, Arugula, and Tomato), The North Hill Ranch and the Meat Lover.

There’s also a Peach and Pecan pizza that sounds amazing. Their website describes it saying “Our artisan crust is coated in a light layer of extra virgin olive oil. Then, delicious peaches are baked on a bed of mozzarella along with pecans that roast to perfection. Rather than tomato sauce, the acidity comes from a balsamic glaze that is applied after baking. Finally, the entire experience is dusted with a Parmesan Romano blend.”

Grant’s Pizza House also has salads, wings, and desserts.
