OC Restaurant Quest: Pho Street Vietnamese Noodle House in Lake Orion

Orion Township, MI – The warm comfort of a Vietnamese noodle dish can be the perfect thing for a chilly winter day. Fitting the bill for such a meal is Pho Street Vietnamese Noodle House in Orion Township.
For my visit I got a carryout of Bun Bo Xao. Bún is a fine vermicelli noodle made from rice, and this dish comes served with bean sprouts, lettuce and cucumber, and beef, garnished with pickled daikon & carrots, crushed peanuts, and scallion. Served with a side of our house garlic fish sauce.
I also tried the fried tofu and the Cha Cio, which are Vietnamese egg rolls filled with ground pork and chicken, taro, carrot, mushroom, and green onions. Pho Street also offers smoothies, and I had a strawberry one.
Everything was high quality and delicious. Also on the menu are a selection of Pho dishes – Vietnamese soup with noodles. Choices include seafood, beef stew, vegetarian, pho with meatballs and more.
There are also rice dishes like Com Ga Chien Goin which features fried rice and deep fried chicken. The Com Thit Nuong Trung has grilled pork with fried egg over rice. And the Com Bo Xao Bong Cai whihc has stir-fried beef and broccoli over steamed rice.
