Jan 26 – Meet Authors of Serial Showgirl at Ferndale Library
Ferndale, MI – Join us for an entertaining reading and drag performance from Serial Showgirl, a vigilante justice crime thriller written by two local authors. Books will be available for purchase after the reading.
Serial Showgirl was published in late November, by Melinda Bryce and Daniel Crago, aka Monique Madison.
No registration is required for this event, but space is limited. If you have any questions, reach out to the Head of Adult Services via email: kricket@fadl.org
Bryce is a career writer and screenwriter from Detroit who co-founded Walker-Bryce Creative, LLC, a multifaceted content development company.
Monique Madison, aka Daniel Crago, has been a drag queen entertainer since the mid-90s. Monique has performed drag shows all over the U.S. and has appeared on daytime television and films. Serial Showgirl is the culmination of their lifelong dream of becoming an author.
More about the book: Serial Showgirl is more than a vigilante justice crime thriller, it’s the deeply emotional story of a young gay man’s struggle to not only survive in a society of toxic masculinity but to maintain his mental clarity when it’s so easy in the drag world for the illusion to become a delusion.
