OC Restaurant Quest: Dee’s Quick Bites in Hazel Park

Hazel Park, MI – Dee’s Quick Bites is a new restaurant in Hazel Park offering – as the name suggests – quick bites. There are burgers, sandwiches, starters and sidekicks. Under the Taco Time section of the menu was my top pick – the Taco Bowl. This filling meal had rice, black beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, black olives and chicken. Beef is also an option.

I also ordered a mac-n-cheese dog to see what that was. It was hot dog, on a normal bun, topped with both chili and mac and cheese. A totally unexpected, yet delightful, mix.

Other surprising bites include fried Oreos, country fried steak, fried spam sandwiches, and Kool-Aid.
