OC Restaurant Quest: Burrito King in Novi

Novi, MI – Burrito King is a Mexican Grill in Novi with great food and a bright atmosphere. The booths are adorned with food photos and the walls have murals of family and friends in scenes of Mexico.
I dined in with a friend for lunch. They ordered the Mexican Sandwich served on flour tortillas, with fries.
I had the mixed fajitas made with steak and chicken, as well as sizzling hot onion, green pepper, and tomatoes served with guacamole and sour cream.
The meal came with chips and salsa and I washed mine down with pineapple flavored soda.
Burrito King’s menu is full of choices. There’s a page full of soups. Pozole is traditional Mexican pork and hominy spicy soup. Menudo is spich and traditional Mexican beef stomach soup. And the Caldo de Birria is made with marinated beef and lamb.
There’s also a nice selection of burritos, as the name suggests. Check out the Burrito Jalisco, the Ole Burrito, and the Burrito Gigante among others. There are tacos, enchiladas and other traditional favorites, as well as a section for Seafood that includes fish tacos and tostadas de camaron.
