(Liam Feeney, Nov. 25, 2022)

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hill Police department called a press conference for the ongoing investigation into the man dubbed  “Hockey Doc,” Dr. Zvi Levran.

Levran has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct related to student athletes – mainly hockey players – that were patients.

Chief of Police Jeff King and Oakland County Prosecutor Karen Mcodnald lead a recent press conference as they reiterated the details of the investigation. Talking about the initial investigation they summarized how a 19 year old victim came to them with information about an incident at Dr. Levran’s house. The investigation lead to an open tip line and cooperation with the state and local government as well as coordination with other departments across the country and Canada as tips poured in. Currently there are five other investigations outside of Farmington Hills being conducted.

When asked more details about the case both the Chief and Prosecutor declined to answer as the investigation is ongoing. During the investigation into the tips they had received they said there was reason to believe there were “a lot more incidents.”

They concluded the press conference by asking anyone with any knowledge or tips call the Farmington Hills Police Department Command desk at (248)-871-2610.
