Nov 4 – 20 – Ridgedale Players Present Odd Couple AND Odd Couple Female Version
Troy, MI – Troy’s preeminent community theatre, The Ridgedale Players, will present both the original Neil Simon classic The Odd Couple along with his spunky rewrite The Odd Couple – Female version running November 4 – 20. These two marvelous comedies will take the stage alternating performances to the delight of audiences.
Whether it is Felix and Oscar or Florence and Olive, both Odd Couples will leave audiences roaring with laughter as the polar opposites learn to live together. Hilarity ensues as they, along with a delightful cast of characters, help them explore this new lifestyle. The original version features the card playing wise-cracking friends and the beautiful Pigeon sisters while the female version will entertain audiences with the friends having a wild game of Trivial Pursuit and the sexy Costazuela brothers.
Performance dates for the male version are November 5, 11, and 19 at 8:00 pm and November 6, 12 and 20th at 2:00pm. Performances for the female version are November 4, 12, and 18th at 8:00pm and November 5, 13 and 19th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $18 for seniors/students and $20 for adults. Ridgedale Players is located at 205 W. Long Lake Rd (just west of Livernois) in Troy. Although not mandatory, audiences are encouraged to wear masks to protect themselves against COVID-19.
