Nov 15 – Tiny Art Reception at Ferndale Library
Ferndale, MI – Join us for a community art reception! Library patrons created the artwork that will be on display on Tuesday, November 15, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Just like any art reception that the library regularly hosts, there will be works on display, along with lite refreshments and live music! Everyone is invited, especially the artist & their families.
In late September, we passed out 50 “tiny art kits” containing miniature easels, a set of paints, small brushes, and a 4″ x 4″ canvas. We encouraged adult patrons to create a mini-masterpiece and return it to the library for this special occasion.
We’re hoping this could be the “first annual” Tiny Art Show of its kind! Even if you didn’t get a chance to participate this year, you’ll no doubt find some inspiration from this impressive assemblage of small-scale paintings.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Ferndale Library Arts & Exhibition Committee.
