Auburn Hills Community Foundation Grant to Support Neighborhood House

(City of Auburn Hills, Oct. 26, 2022)

The Auburn Hills Community Foundation announced today that it has provided a grant to Neighborhood House, a non-profit located in Rochester Hills that focuses its resources on a handful of area communities, including Auburn Hills.  The grant, in the amount of $10,000, will assist in supporting two programs at Neighborhood House as follows:

  • $7,500 to the Eviction Prevention/Shelter Program
  • $2,500 to the Food Pantry

Monies donated by the Auburn Hills Community Foundation are designated for the benefit of Auburn Hills residents who are in need.  Neighborhood House provides services to Auburn Hills residents such as those listed above, as well as other services such as transportation services when the Auburn Hills Community Center is unable to provide them, as well as services such as counseling (including career counseling), skills training, clothes closet, and a host of other services.  You can learn more at www.ranh.org.

“We are always glad to donate to Neighborhood House because we know that our donation will directly positively impact residents of the Auburn Hills community on which we are focused,” said Kristen Baiardi, Chairperson of the Auburn Hills Community Foundation.

As the holidays approach, Auburn Hills residents and businesses are encouraged to consider the Auburn Hills Community Foundation for their charitable giving, as well as anyone interested from outside the community who wish to make a contribution. The Foundation’s tagline, Charity Begins at Home, reflects the commitment the foundation has to keeping the dollars we receive in the community. When you give to the Auburn Hills Community Foundation, you can be assured that it will be helping your neighbors right here in Auburn Hills. And best of all, everyone involved in the foundation are volunteers who have ties to our community. As a result, at least 95 cents of every dollar raised goes back into the community. The foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

To donate, send your check made payable to the Auburn Hills Community Foundation to 1827 North Squirrel Road, Auburn Hills, MI  48326.  The foundation is honored to receive a gift of any amount.  To learn more about the foundation, to request a brochure, or to become a Legacy Leader donor, call 248.370.9440.
