Oct 15 – Safetalk Suicide Prevention Training in Clarkston
Clarkston, MI- Safe Talk is a half-day training that prepares anyone over the age of 15 to become a suicide-alert helper. Safe TALK trained helpers learn to recognize verbal and nonverbal signs from people with thoughts of suicide and take action by connecting them with life-saving intervention resources. Parents, grandparents, high school students, college students, teachers, coaches, police, fire, ems, medical providers and faith based organizations should attend.
