OC Restaurant Quest: Loccino Italian Grill and Bar in Troy

Troy, MI -There’s a beautiful restaurant on Crooks in Troy called Loccino Italian Grill and Bar, which is our next feature in the Oakland County Restaurant Quest (sponsored by our friends at White Castle).

For this visit I had the Chicken Piccata, made with lightly breaded sauteed chicken with capers and mushrooms in a lemon sauce, served over pasta with some tasty bread sticks. It was perfectly good lunchtime carryout meal, with enough to save some for later.

I also ordered the Wedge Salad with tomatoes, Gorgonzola cheese, bacon, eggs and blue cheese dressing. Lots of flavors combined here for a great salad.

Other items include the Seafood Portabella, Veal Marsala, Sauteed Perch, and salads like the Grilled Chicken Cobb and the Cajun Filet. They also offer up burgers, sandwiches, steaks, and flatbread pizzas. The Beef Tenderloin Pizza, for example, has portabella mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, fresh garlic and mozzarella. And the Pesto Chicken Pizza has grilled chicken, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto and mozzarella.
