OC Restaurant Quest: Chicago Brothers Pizza in Lake Orion

Lake Orion, MI – For the latest restaurant in our Oakland County Times Restaurant Quest, I decided to go for a true original – the Curly Classic from Chicago Brothers Pizza in Orion Township.

This cheesy, greasy, gooey pizza is baked with the kind of pepperoni that curls up and browns on the edges and forms little cups of grease inside. The soft dough, slightly sweet pizza sauce, and generous mozzarella make this a solid contender for one of the best pepperoni pizzas I’ve had.

Other specialties include the BBQ Chicken (Grilled Chicken, BBQ Sauce, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Bacon & a 3-Cheese Blend), the BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese & Mayo), the Bacon Cheeseburger (Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Ground Beef, Red Onions & Tomatoes), and more. I tried their fried mushrooms, where were another great choice.

Guests can also build their own from a selection of toppings, with round and deep dish available. They also offer dinners including chicken strips, ribs and wings, oven baked subs, crisp salads, lasagna, and mostaccioli. Chicago Brothers Pizza has been serving up great slices since 1989.
