Pedestrian Struck on Woodward Avenue During Dream Cruise

Ferndale, MI – A woman was sent to the hospital after being struck by an SUV during the Dream Cruise in Ferndale.
According to Ferndale Police Community Relations Officer Jill Mahlmeister, “On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 6:20 p.m., Ferndale Police responded to northbound Woodward at E Troy St for a personal injury accident. Investigation revealed a 54 year-old female out of Hazel Park, walked across Woodward, not in the crosswalk, and was struck by a SUV, driven by a 24 year-old female out of Sterling Heights. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.”
