Reporter Food: Bill’s in Bloomfield Hills

Bloomfield Hills, MI- Bloomfield Hills, MI- Whether you’re looking for an elegant dine-in option, or some quality carry-out, Bill’s at 39556 Woodward Ave could be a great choice. Billed as “a classic, comfortable social club, Bill’s is part of the Roberts Restaurant Group which also operates Streetside Seafood, Roadside B&G, Beverly Hills Grill and Cafe ML.

For my recent carry-out feast I had the Chicken Tosca, which is hand breaded chicken serves with capellini noodles, artichokes, and lemon beurre blanc. I chose the mashed potatoes, though fries, onion rings, and polenta are also available. For dessert I enjoyed the beignets, which are fried puffs of dough coated with powdered sugar and served with blueberry cognac sauce.

Other dinner entree choices include grilled swordfish, north road salmon, short rib bolognese, Filet Mignon and more.

Appetizers include steak tartare, oysters, Colorado lamb meatballs, and mussels and garlic toast. There is also a selection of fine wines and beer. According to their website, “Bill’s draws inspiration from the neighborhood and its rich history, creating a setting that is modern but with old-world charm. The creatively classic menu easily incorporates the food of a French bistro, Italian trattoria and American social club. Whenever you visit, you’ll delight in our sophisticated yet comfortable space.”
