Hazel Park, MI -The City of Hazel Park will help present the 2nd annual Pride Festival to bring its residents together – and from surrounding communities – to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14 at Green Acres Park , 620 W. Woodward Heights Blvd., Hazel Park, MI 48030. The celebration is free to the public.
The Annual Pride Festival will be an unforgettable summer event for the whole family.
The festival is pleased to welcome more than fifty entertainers and more than one hundred merchandise and food vendors. The festival will also include carnival-style games and prizes, special guest DJs, drag queen story time, and drag face painting. The event is pet-friendly and will offer plenty of fun activities for kids of all ages.
Ed Klobucher, Hazel Park City Manager, said: “We are thrilled, once again, to gather and celebrate the importance of the LGBTQ+ community and its contributions to our city. The event promises to be fun for the entire family. Come and join us!”
Additionally, the festival will provide sanitation stations throughout to prioritize the health and safety of all attendees. Come join the City of Hazel Park for a fun-filled night under the big pavilion.
