Troy, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Sterling Heights, Utica, Oakland Township, and Shelby Township, MI – In the race for State Senator of the 9th District, there is no competition in either primary although voting will still take place Aug. 2.

Democrat Padma Kuppa and Republican Michael Webber are anticipated to win the primary and face each other in the Nov. 8, 2022 election.
