Video: Air National Guard of Midwest Performs in Orion Township

Orion Twp, MI – “We travel throughout the year supporting military and community relations, such as tonight’s performance,” said the host of the Air National Guard of the Midwest concert held July 5 at Wildwood Amphitheater in Orion Township.

The show was part of the Wildwood Concert series that takes place on Tuesday evenings through the summer in partnership with Orion.Events.

The ANG Band is made up of members who serve in the Air National Guard one weekend a month and two weeks per year. Most have civilian jobs, with a wide range of professions represented. The concert shared some patriotic music as expected, including the Star Spangled Banner; as well more modern hits like Don Henley’s Life is a Highway.
