Reporter Food: Dixie Diner in Waterford

Waterford, MI – Dixie Diner is a popular family restaurant on Dixie Highway in Waterford. I stopped in recently for breakfast, sitting in one of the beige booths watching people come in and out for carryout and for dining in.
I had a very delicious Mushroom and Swiss omelette. This came with shredded hash browns and toast. I also had hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. What a great start to the day.
Other breakfast choices include the chicken omelette, strawberry cheesecake pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and of course options with meat and eggs. Dixie Diner also serves lunch and dinner, with favorites like the chili cheddar burger, deep fried jumbo shrimp, veal Parmesan, and a variety of sandwiches and wraps. They also take orders for party trays and family buckets.
