Voorheis Road to Close for Sewer Repairs June 28

Waterford, MI – Waterford Township expects to close Voorheis Road from Telegraph Road to    M-59 on Tuesday, June 28, starting at approximately 9 a.m. for emergency sanitary sewer repairs. Voorhies Road will be completely closed at Draper Avenue (the section that runs north of Voorheis Road) for the repairs.

 Residential and business traffic will be maintained north and east of Draper Avenue. Through traffic will need to use M-59 and Telegraph Road to get around the closure.The road is expected to reopen during the evening of Tuesday, June 28. Voorheis Road carries approximately 16,700 vehicles daily. The work is being done under a permit issued by the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC).
