Downtown Ferndale Announces Concerts on the Nine with Shows Each Sunday
(Downtown Ferndale, June 7, 2022)
Ferndale, MI – Celebrate live music outdoors in Ferndale. Nine consecutive weeks of live music and entertainment on Sunday evenings at 4 PM in Schiffer Park. Downtown Development Authority of Ferndale Michigan presents their second annual free concert series titled Nine on Nine. Event runs from June 12-August 7, 2022. Each performance is one hour.
Performers include: My Detroit Players, Barelyon, Raven Grey, Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club, George Montrelle, Hung Up, and Detroit performers Indigo Curve, Secondary Colors and Kenneth Wallace.
“Nine on Nine is quickly becoming one of my favorite reasons to love living in Ferndale,” Ferndale Arts and Cultural Commission Chair Tim Pare said.
The family friendly festival celebrates the wealth of cultural diversity in and around Ferndale through live music and performance.
An open call yielded more than thirty submissions which were reviewed by members of the Downtown Ferndale Vision Committee. “We were blown away by the vast musical skills our residents and nearby friends have to offer,” Vision Committee volunteer Mercedes Tardella said. “We’re thrilled to see our community come together to enjoy Ferndale through music.”

All performances at 4 PM. Schiffer Park is located at Planavon and West Nine Mile in Downtown Ferndale.
Parking is free in all public lots on Sundays. Limited public seating is available. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. This event is pet friendly.
