Ferndale Schools Superintendent Search Continues, Narrowed Down to Five

Ferndale, Oak Park, Royal Oak Township, Pleasant Ridge, MI – The Ferndale Schools Board of Education is excited to announce the five candidates to become our next Superintendent.
Dana Arreola
Executive Director of Leadership, Aldine Independent School District (TX)
Cassandra Baptiste
Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning, Oak Park Public Schools
Anthony Bonds
Assistant Superintendent, Duluth Public Schools (MN)
Bobbie Goodrum
Assistant Superintendent for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Farmington Hills Public Schools
LaShawn Streater
Assistant Superintendent, Detroit Public Schools Community District
First round interviews are open to the public and will take place in the Ferndale High School Media Center on Friday, June 10th from 5:15pm to 730pm and on Saturday, June 11th from 9:15am to 12:45pm. At the conclusion of the first round interviews the Board of Education will select the finalists. The final round of interviews will consist of a visit to the district on June 14th and a formal interview before the Board of Education on June 15th.
