Lake Orion Comes Together to Build Children’s Park
On Saturday, May 14th, Children’s Park in downtown Lake Orion was filled with dozens of volunteers who came to help build a new, safe play structure for the community to enjoy.
On Saturday, May 14th, Children’s Park in downtown Lake Orion was filled with dozens of volunteers who came to help build a new, safe play structure for the community to enjoy.
“Our DPW workforce often goes unseen, responsible for so many of the things we use and experience daily—paved streets and sidewalks, running water, landscaping and greenery throughout our downtown, snow removal, and more—yet working behind the scenes, often in inclement weather, to ensure that our services are well maintained and uninterrupted.”
“Protecting your dog against rabies also protects your family and neighbors,” said Bob Gatt, Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center manager. “We don’t want the cost of the rabies vaccine to be a barrier for anyone getting a dog license.”
