June 11 – Gravity Art Fair and Skate Contest in Ferndale
Ferndale, MI – Reveal Productions announces the first annual Gravity Art Fair & Skate Contest to be held on June 11th in Geary Park (1198 Earl Blvd, Ferndale, MI 48220.)
The contemporary art fair will feature more than 50 local artists displaying and selling unique wares including original illustration, streetwear, skateboard deck art, jewelry, comics, pet products, novelties and more.
The skate contest, to be held in the new skatepark partially funded by a $250,000 grant from skateboarding star Tony Hawk’s foundation, will be run by Modern Skate and Surf. A classic Jam Session celebrating the athleticism and physical artistry of skateboarding, BMX and scooters and inline skating, the contest will feature kids and adults of all ages battling it out in Ferndale’s brand-new skatepark. The Gravity Art Fair & Skate Contest is produced by Ferndale Parks and Recreation and Reveal Productions, and partial proceeds of the event will help fund Ferndale park improvements and programming.
