(BTL, March 13, 2022)
Bloomfield Township, MI – The Bloomfield Township Public Library Board of Trustees has appointed Bloomfield Township resident Shane Spradlin to fill a vacancy on the Board. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Sandra Edwards, who had served on the Board for three and a half years. The Trustees thank Sandy for her devoted and capable service to the Library and the community.

Library Board of Trustees President Joan Luksik said, “Filling this vacancy was not easy due to the high caliber of every single applicant. Each of the ten candidates expressed their appreciation of Bloomfield Township Public Library, its amazing staff, collections, outreach, and building. After a lengthy deliberation, we selected Shane Spradlin as our newest trustee. Shane brings impressive experience as General Counsel of Penske Automotive Group and is a devoted library user. We look forward to welcoming him to the Bloomfield Township Public Library Board of Trustees.”
Mr. Spradlin will be sworn in by Bloomfield Township Clerk Martin Brook before the Board’s regular monthly meeting on March 15, 2022.
