Farmington Hills Police Seeking Info On Home Invasion

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred at approximately 9:00 AM on March 10, 2022.  The incident occurred at the Independence Green Apartment complex, located at Halsted Road and Grand River Avenue.

The victim’s laptops and purse containing several credit cards were taken.  At 9:27 AM on March 10, 2022, the victim’s credit card was used at a business in the City of Detroit.

Detectives responded to the business and obtained video footage of the person using the victims credit card and the suspects’ vehicle.

The Farmington Hills Police Department is attempting to identify the following suspect and vehicle:

• Black male, early 20’s, facial hair and a slender build.
• Dark gray Mazda (possible Mazda3)

Detectives are actively investigating this incident and increased patrols are being conducted in the area.
