Fire in Ferndale Claims Two Lives

Ferndale, MI – A fire claimed two lives Thursday in Ferndale.
Fire Chief Theresa Robinson told Oakland County Times “At 9:20 PM last night a structure fire occurred on Albany Avenue in Ferndale.
“When the firefighters arrived and entered the home and located two victims. The male and female were removed from the home and life-saving efforts provided. Unfortunately both victims have passed away.
“This fire does not appear to have been intentional and is a terrible tragedy. No firefighters were injured fighting this fire. The fire is under investigation at this time to determine a cause.
“The Ferndale Fire Department’s thoughts and prayers are with the family of these victims.”
