Reporter Food: Trail’s Edge Cafe in Wixom

Wixom, MI – Trail’s Edge Cafe in Wixom has stayed open through the pandemic with curbside carryout of coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, and snacks.

For a recent visit I had the ham and cheddar panini made with black forest ham and sharp cheddar cheese, to which I had spinach added. This toasted sandwich was thick and juicy and delicious.

I also ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese to save for later for a satisfying meal.

The peach smoothie was creamy and delicious, made with almond milk. The service was friendly and quick and the food was great.

There are more bakery items to consider, including Belgian waffles, Cioccolati biscotti, bagels, and muffins. Other lunchtime items include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, turkey and swiss paninis, and three cheese grilled cheeses. Trail’s Edge Cafe also has a nice selection of tea, expresso, lattes and more.
