Reporter Food: Great Lakes Family Restaurant in Waterford

Waterford, Fowlerville, MI- The quest continues to support every restaurant in Oakland County, with carryout from Great Lakes Family Restaurant in Waterford.
I had the Great Lakes Wrap, which came stuffed with chicken tenders, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, grilled peppers and onions, and ranch dressing. This was a great choice that I really liked. The grilled onions and peppers gave it that extra bit of flavor most chicken wraps lack.
I also had a Greek salad with feta, kalamata olives, rings of green pepper, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, tomatoes, beets, and red onion. Also a fabulous, healthy choice.
Great Lakes Family Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the breakfast menu are a variety of omelettes, including a Greek, Steak and Cheese, Spinach and Feta, and the Hawaiian filled with ham, pineapple and American cheese. Other favorites include Ribeye Steak and Eggs, Country Hash, Biscuits and Gravy and more.
For lunch and dinner some of the more interesting choices include Sweet Breaded Clams, Baked Ham, Strawberry Chicken Wrap, Fried Egg Sandwich, and Baked Mostaccioli. There’s even a special section for seniors that includes Liver and Onions, Fish and Chips, and Chicken.
Great Lakes Family Restaurant is located at 5834 Highland Road in Waterford, with a second location at 963 S. Grand Avenue in Fowlerville.
