Reporter Food: Sick Pizza in Oxford
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Nov. 6, 2021)
Oxford, MI – Recently opened in Downtown Oxford is Sick Pizza Company. With a variety of pies, subs, and salads Sick Pizza has been a welcome addition to the community.
I ordered the Cheeseburger in Oxford! pizza, a Detroit-style deep dish that came topped with house blend mozzarella and Wisconsin brick cheese, fresh ground beef, sweet onions, dill pickle, fresh diced tomato, cheddar cheese, finished with fresh cut lettuce and Mayo. This amazing mess tasted just like a good burger.
I also had the the antipasto salad, made with a blend of ice berg, romaine, and spinach, cubed ham and salami, pepperocini, artichokes, tomato, fresh mozzarella, croutons and Greek olives.
Other pizza options include the Tree Hugger Veggie Pizza (spinach, fresh mushrooms, roasted red pepper, red onion, black olives, and fresh tomato), Garlic Chicken Pesto (fresh spinach, fresh basil, artichokes, olive oil and Italian seasoning), and even Pickle Pizza (with bacon, pickle, fresh garlic, ricotta cheese, olive oil and Italian seasoning. Among the subs are Dr. Larry’s Three Cheese Veggie Sub, the Italian, and the Ham and Swiss.
Sick Pizza Company is located at 33 N. Washington in Oxford. Check out their full menu on ToastTab.
