Reporter Food: M-1 Grill in Pontiac
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct. 16, 2021)
Pontiac, MI –  Looking for easy late-night food in Pontiac?  M-1 Grill, with a drive through and dine-in just inside the Woodward Loop, serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7am to midnight.
M-1 Grill has a variety of coney island/family restaurant favorites. For me this meant a classic coney dog, topped with chili, chopped white onions, and mustard.
I also ordered a Cobb Salad – a classic that comes topped with tomatoes, onion, cucumbers, eggs, chicken, bacon, and shredded cheese served with pita bread.  There were definitely more choices than a typical drive-thru, and the items I had were good choices.
For breakfast, M-1 Grill has omelettes, pancakes and waffles, as well as skillets. For lunch and dinner some choices include sandwiches like the BLT, Chicken Club, Catfish Sandwich, Charbroiled Chicken with Mushroom and Swiss. There are also super subs, pitas, and melts. They also have a Mexican section of the menu with burrito bowls and nachos. For dinner entrees some choices include New York Strip, Jumbo Shrimp Basket, and Grilled Salmon.
M 1 Grill is located at 50501 Woodward Avenue in Downtown Pontiac. Learn more at www.m1grill.com.
