2021 Candidate Interview: Sean Fleming for Madison Heights City Council

Madison Heights, MI – In Madison Heights there are two candidates running for Mayor and several running for City Council.
Incumbent Mayor Roslyn Grafstein is running again, opposed by William J. Mier.
For City Council there are three positions available. The candidates are Toya Aaron, Sean Fleming, Bob Gettings, David M. Soltis, and Quinn J. Wright. Incumbent Mark Bliss is running as a write-in.  Fleming is expected to be appointed to City Council at the Oct. 11, 2021 meeting to fill a vacancy for a partial term.  If he wins the Nov. 2 election he will be given the choice which term he prefers and the vacancy of the other will then be filled per the charter based on the vote ranking in November.
The Mayor position has a two year term, and Council seats have four year terms.
Election Day is Nov. 2, 2021.
