OC Restaurant Quest: Guido’s Pizza
(Crystal A. Proxmire, orig. July 10, 2021)
Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Clarkston, Novi, Oxford, Waterford, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County led me to trying Guido’s Pizza. This locally-owned chain has locations in Davison, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Brighton, Clarkston, Grand Blanc, Hartland, Novi, Oxford, Shelby Township, Waterford, and Sault St. Marie. I got mine at the Pontiac location.
This deep dish pie came topped with ham, mushroom, onion, green pepper, Italian sausage, and black olives. I also got an order of mozzarella bread that came with garlic cheese dip.
Other signature pizza options include the BBQ chicken, the chicken Alfredo, and the meaty which is topped with pepperoni, ham, bacon, Italian sausage and ground beef. There are also oven-toasted subs, premium pastas, and salads.
