Reporter Food: La Fonda Mexican Kitchen in Waterford

Waterford, MI – La Fonda Mexican Kitchen at 3150 Elizabeth Lake Road in Waterford Township serves up south of the border favorites made with quality ingredients.
A friend and I decided to give this a try, opting for the taco salad and the quesadilla.
The taco salad came in a perfectly crispy, slightly greasy shell filled with beans, meat, lettuce, diced tomatoes, peppers, shredded cheese, and sour cream. This can also be made with chicken.
My friend had the quesadilla made with chicken, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, and lettuce served with sour cream.  I got to have a taste of this too. Both items were well-made and delicious.
The menu has what one might expect – tasty tacos, burritos, fajitas, and chimichangas. They also offer flautas, tamales, enchiladas, and deserts like fried ice cream and flan.
