Birmingham Farmers Market Happens Each Sunday

Birmingham Farmers Market Happens Each Sunday

Birmingham, MI – The Birmingham Farmers Market will kick off its 19th season on Sunday, May 2 in Public Parking Lot 6 located at 660 N. Old Woodward. Visitors of all ages are invited to experience the walkable outdoor market and shop for local produce, meat and dairy, artisan baked goods, fresh foods and more! The market will be open every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., May 2 through October 31.

The Birmingham Farmers Market proudly offers Michigan-grown produce subject to local growing patterns. By late spring, shoppers will find home-grown rhubarb, parsnips, herbs, early organic vegetables, strawberries, garden plants, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, basil, beans, mushrooms, turnips, kale, lettuce, green onions, sugar peas, radishes and spinach. The Birmingham Farmers Market Produce Guide can be found on our website with more information on seasonal produce availability. In addition to food, shoppers can also browse unique and stunning floral bouquets, hanging baskets, garden flats and other plants.

This season the Birmingham Farmers Market welcomes long-time and new vendors including Beaverland Farms, Farm and Forest, Fusilier Family Farms, Gus & Grey Jams, Sweetest Gourmet, Tracina’s Gourmet Specialties, Uhlianuk Farms, 3D Planted and many more!

The Birmingham Farmers Market is closely monitoring the current COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to follow all City, State and MDHHS guidelines. We have updated our procedures to keep shoppers, farmers and staff as safe as possible. All market attendees are required to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing.
