Fire Damages Home on Jewell Street in Ferndale

Ferndale, MI – Ferndale Firefighters responded to a fire in a home on Jewell Street east of Woodward on Thursday around 5pm.  Madison Heights and Hazel Park fire fighters also responded.
Ferndale Fire Chief Teresa Robinson told Oakland County Times “Fire occurred in an unoccupied home under renovation. No one was at the residence at the time of the fire and no injuries occurred. Cause is under investigation but appears accidental at this time.”
